Bodmin’s Narisa Hall gets a café and the band comes back

The keys to Narisa Hall have changed hands. Bodmin Town Council has passed them to Cammy’s Little Castles, and the building at Priory Park is to become a family-friendly café. There is a second part to the plan, and it involves brass.

The Mayor carried out the handover along with the Town Clerk and the Head of Operations, and the council called it the start of a new chapter for the building.

The café is being set up as a welcoming space for children’s parties, for families and for visitors to the park, with views over the duck pond and the play park. Priory Park is one of the busiest spots in Bodmin on a warm day, and Narisa Hall sits right in the middle of it.

The band comes back

The other half of the announcement is musical. Cammy’s Little Castles will be working alongside and supporting Bodmin Town Band, and that partnership lets the band return to Narisa Hall after many years away.

The council described it as bringing music and community spirit back to the venue.

What happens next

Bodmin Town Council said it wished everyone involved every success, and that it looked forward to seeing Narisa Hall thrive in the years ahead.

No opening date has been given.
