Truro’s Green Street toilets to close for a week-long refresh
A small but well-used corner of Truro is about to get some attention, and anyone caught short in the city centre next week may need to walk a little further.
Truro City Council has announced that Green Street Public Toilets will be temporarily closed from Monday 9 November for maintenance and redecoration.

How long the work will take
The work is expected to take around one week.
The council says the refresh will help maintain the appearance and standard of the facilities. It has apologised for any inconvenience during the closure.
Where to go instead
While Green Street is shut, the nearest public toilets are at Lower Lemon Street.
The Changing Places facility will remain open throughout.
More toilets lined up for improvements
Green Street is the first of several. Further improvements to other Truro City Council-run public toilets are also planned, with details to follow as arrangements are confirmed.
The council will confirm when the Green Street toilets are ready to reopen.
