Cornish Pirates Strengthen Squad with Signing of Ben Cambriani

Ben Cambriani is heading to Cornwall

The Cornish Pirates have confirmed the signing of wing and centre Ben Cambriani ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Swansea-born Ben, aged 25, was educated at Bishopston Comprehensive School and brings with him a solid playing background. His career has seen him represent Ospreys, Ampthill, Zebre Parma, and Wales 7s, making him a versatile addition to the Pirates’ squad.

Coaches pleased with the move

Cornish Pirates’ joint head coach Gavin Cattle welcomed the news, saying:

“We are really pleased to bring in someone of Ben’s calibre. He has experience at United Rugby Championship (URC) level and knows what to expect from the English Championship after his time at Ampthill. He had an eye-catching couple of seasons there and we look forward to him making an impact here at the Pirates.”
