A warm start to the week
Today, Sunday 24th May, began with sunshine and temperatures rising quickly through the morning. The day is set to stay dry with plenty of hot sunshine and light winds, though it will feel rather humid. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 28°C.
Tonight will stay dry with some late evening sunshine, followed by clear skies across the region. It will remain rather warm overnight, with a minimum temperature of 15°C.
The big one: Monday
Bank holiday Monday is shaping up to be the hottest day of the lot. Forecasters expect a hot and humid day with plenty of strong sunshine and light winds, and the mercury is set to hit 32°C.
If you are heading to the coast, you may find things a touch more bearable. It will feel slightly fresher by the sea thanks to a sea breeze.
