The bunting is already going up in the diary for one of the city’s biggest dates on the food calendar. Truro Food Festival is returning for 2026, taking over Lemon Quay for five days of local producers, live chef demonstrations and street food, with the party spilling over into the evenings too.

When and where

The festival runs from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th September 2026 on Lemon Quay, in the heart of Truro. Opening hours build across the week: Wednesday and Thursday run 9am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday stretch later to 6pm, and Sunday winds down earlier at 10am to 4pm. It’s free to attend, with no ticket needed to walk round and soak up the atmosphere.

What’s on offer

Expect a Producer Village packed with award-winning Cornish food, drink and craft businesses, alongside chef demonstrations, workshops, street food stalls, pop-up bars serving craft beer and cider, and live music running through the days. Organisers are billing 2026 as bigger than previous years, with the full chef demonstration line-up still to be announced.

New for 2026 are the Chef’s Table Feasts, a paid-for addition offering sit-down menus from named chefs, with tickets and the line-up available on the festival’s Feasts page. Unlike the main festival, these feasts do require booking.

Once the stalls on Lemon Quay close up for the day, the festival doesn’t stop. An After Party with more food, drink and entertainment runs each evening at Skinners Brewery, and fringe events are expected to pop up elsewhere around the city too.

One thing to watch for

More announcements on the full programme, chef line-up and workshops are promised in the coming weeks, with updates posted on the official Truro Food Festival Facebook page. Anyone following along is asked to double-check they’re following the genuine page, rather than one of the fake accounts that have appeared alongside past events using the festival’s name.

Producers and traders wanting a pitch can already apply, with 2026 applications now open on the festival’s website.

With just over a month to go, the countdown is on for what’s shaping up to be Truro’s biggest foodie week yet.
