Ivo Graham brings his Orange Crush tour to Launceston

Ask most people what their favourite orange thing is and they will stare at you blankly. Ask Ivo Graham, and be prepared to be there a while. Marmalade, Garfield, Aperol spritz, Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange, Claudia Winkleman’s fringe. He has thought about all of it, catalogued it, and built an entire touring stand-up show around it.

A whole show built around one colour

Orange Crush is the result of what Ivo calls a series of emotional days in his favourite colour during 2025, which tipped him from casual orange enthusiast (baked beans, sriracha mayo, The Tiger Who Came to Tea) into something closer to a mission. He has spent the last year colour-coordinating his life for his daughter, his mother and his football team, and now he wants an audience’s help finishing the job. Expect a show about hats, haters, hometown heroes, and a properly contested debate on whether Hare Krishnas beat Hobnobs.

Extended by demand, and coming to Launceston

The tour has already sold out one leg, prompting an extension into autumn 2026. Among the new dates is a night at Launceston Town Hall on Thursday 29 October, one of the closest stops on the whole run for anyone in Cornwall who fancies a look at Ivo’s orange list in person.

The show follows a sellout run of his acclaimed theatre show Carousel and the release of his first book, Yardsticks For Failure, published by Headline, which he has described as the thing he has put more effort into than anything else he has ever done.

Who is Ivo Graham

Ivo Graham aimed for more conventional careers at Eton and Oxford before committing to the stand-up circuit full time, winning So You Think You’re Funny? in 2009 at the age of 18. He has since built a reputation as, if not the UK’s poshest comedian, then certainly its most apologetically posh one. His 2019 show The Game of Life picked up nominations for Best Show and Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Ivo’s television credits include Have I Got News for You, QI, The Last Leg, Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo, along with quiz show appearances of varying success on Pointless, House of Games, Mastermind and University Challenge. He toured the country with Fern Brady and Darren Harriott for Dave’s travelogue British as Folk in 2021, and has appeared on Radio 4’s The Now Show, The News Quiz and Just a Minute, plus the drama Unite and his own panel show, Ivo Graham’s Obsessions. He has also worked Swindon Town references into more episodes of 5 Live’s Fighting Talk and BT Sport’s The Football’s On than can possibly have been necessary.

He co-hosts the podcast Gig Pigs with his best friend Alex Kealy, having previously guested on Quickly Kevin and Off Menu, and in 2023 competed on the fifteenth series of Channel 4’s Taskmaster. He returned to the Fringe in 2024 with Grand Designs, Carousel, and Comedians’ DJ Battles.

Orange Crush runs across the UK from September 2026 into spring 2027, with a run at London’s Soho Theatre and a final date in Belfast the following April. The Launceston show sits among a run of autumn dates taking in the South West, the Midlands, the North and Scotland.
