Final Tickets Left for Fisherman’s Friends Festival as Huge Line-Up Confirmed
Tickets for the first ever Fisherman’s Friends Festival, taking place in Cornwall in May 2026, are almost sold out. All Saturday day tickets for the bank holiday weekend event have already been snapped up, with organisers now issuing a final warning for Sunday day tickets and weekend passes.
The festival will run from Friday 22nd May to Sunday 24th May 2026 at Stithians Showground near Penryn.
The band said: “We’re overwhelmed by the support and interest in our little festival – it’s going to be such a fantastic weekend. We can’t wait!”
Star Names Take to the Stage
The main stage will feature The Fisherman’s Friends alongside Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Kate Rusby, Skipinnish, Seth Lakeman, Peat & Diesel, Sharon Shannon, Kernow King, The Longest Johns and more.
A second Bandstand stage will showcase a wide variety of performers. Friday welcomes Company B with their 1940s jive, and Port Isaac’s The Gulls with their folk, rock and shanty mix. On Saturday, Cornish duo True Foxes and singer-songwriter Karenza Lily-May will perform. Sunday brings The Jaywalkers, Banjovial, Marcus Bonfanti with a solo rhythm and blues set, and Geoff Lakeman who will host and curate Folk Sessions across all three days with special guests.
Entertainment for All Ages
Festival favourites Bigtopmania will run the KidZone, offering circus shows, acrobats, clowns, a Balloon Disco and even a children’s talent show. Rob Pudner of Entertainingly Different will also bring his interactive family performances. Outdoor fun will include Crazy Bikes, circus skills, bubbles, crafts and a dedicated under 5s area.
Circo Rum Baba will perform inside The Whale installation, exploring the survival of sea creatures in oceans filled with rubbish.
Across the site there will also be appearances from Tywardreath Morris and Wreckers Border Morris dancers, as well as nautical walkabout acts including Punt, an electric powered road punt, and Lifeboat, an 8ft clinker-built skiff retelling seafaring stories.
Celebrating Cornwall’s Heritage
The Cornwall Heritage Trust will be on site delivering interactive activities and highlighting their work in protecting the county’s heritage. Visitors can also enjoy nautical shadow puppet shows, singing, and craft workshops.
Throughout the weekend, Cornish artists will work with festival goers to hand-craft a giant fish lantern named Fin the Fish. The lantern will be lit and paraded on Sunday evening before the closing performance from The Fisherman’s Friends.
