The roar of motorcycle engines will sound one last time along the A30 next week, as Cornwall Blood Bikes escorts one of their own on his final journey.

Tim Cookman, the charity’s Vice Chair, died at home in Blackwater on Wednesday 6th May 2026, aged 72. His celebration of life will be held at Treswithian Downs Crematorium on Tuesday 26th May 2026 at 2.30pm, and the route has been planned so that people across Cornwall can stand by the roadside to pay their respects.
