Cornish Birds of Prey Centre asks supporters for a quick favour

It takes a few seconds, costs nothing, and could help pay for the next round of vet bills for a centre full of rescued birds.

The Cornish Birds of Prey Centre CIC has put out a call to its supporters, asking them to nominate it for a grant from Animal Squad, an organisation raising money to fund animal welfare organisations.

A permanent home for rescued birds and animals

The centre describes itself as a safe, loving and permanent home for the many rescued and unwanted birds and animals in its care.

And that care doesn’t come cheap. The team says running the centre comes with enormous costs, from food and veterinary treatment to maintaining enclosures and making sure every animal gets the best possible care.

How to nominate the centre

Supporters can put the centre forward by heading to the Animal Squad grants page and nominating The Cornish Birds of Prey Centre CIC.

The centre is also asking people to share its appeal as widely as they can.

“Even the smallest bit of support could help make a huge difference to the lives of our animals,” the team said.

“Thank you all so much for your continued love and support. We really couldn’t do what we do without you!”
