St Austell’s CHAOS Radio wants to hand one Cornish family Christmas
Somewhere in Cornwall there is a family who has had a rotten year. Nobody has told them yet, but their Christmas could be about to look very different.
CHAOS Radio is giving one family the chance to Win Christmas, with more than £1,000 worth of prizes covering the tree, the turkey, the trimmings, presents and vouchers for days out. And the family won’t have to enter themselves. Anyone can put them forward.
Four runners-up will also get a £100 gift card each to make their Christmas that little bit brighter.

How to nominate a family
Win Christmas launched on The Morning Show with Scott Temple on Monday 2 November and entries are open until midnight on Sunday 6 December.
To nominate, head to chaos.radio and put forward yourself or someone you think deserves it, along with three things on the family’s Christmas wish list. Full details and the terms and conditions are on the Win Christmas page.
“This is the biggest giveaway we’ve ever had on CHAOS Radio and we’re really excited to get as many nominations in as we can for this incredible prize!” said Scott. “This will truly make this Christmas one to remember for a lucky family here in Cornwall.”
What’s in the Win Christmas prize
Much of the prize has been donated by local businesses. The winning family will get:
- A hamper and tree from Tregothnan Estate
- A turkey from Treway Farm
- A veg box from CHAOS Farm
- Skating for four at the Eden Project
- An Enigma Escapes experience
- Lefevre Chocolates
- Family panto tickets from Sticker Village Players
- An evening meal and a night’s stay for four at The Llawnroc
The St Dennis firm behind the giveaway
The competition’s main sponsor is Demolition South West, a family-run demolition, asbestos removal and skip hire business based in St Dennis and working across Cornwall and Devon.
“For many families across the county, the last twelve months have been anything but easy, and this campaign is all about recognising those who deserve a little luck and a well-earned break,” the company said.
“As a Cornish, family-run business based in St Dennis, we’ve always believed in supporting the communities we work in, and we can’t think of a better way to do that than by bringing some positivity to families who need it most. If you know someone who deserves a lift this Christmas, tune in to CHAOS Radio and get your nomination in.”
