Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is set to open its application process for wholetime firefighters on 24th September 2024 at midday. This recruitment drive aims to bring in new talent to join their team of dedicated professionals who work to keep the community safe.

Applicants should possess effective communication skills, the ability to work methodically, and a readiness to engage sensitively with people in high-stress situations. Other important attributes include a willingness to build relationships with diverse groups, maintain physical and mental wellbeing, and an eagerness to learn and develop.
