Newquay BID Secures Funding to Expand Town Mural Trail
Newquay BID has announced that it has secured additional funding to expand the town’s growing street art trail, MUQY.
The free walking trail, produced by Slapdash Studios, invites people to explore Newquay’s town centre and discover large-scale murals that celebrate the town’s heritage and identity.
The first stage of MUQY features four striking murals by renowned artists Kleiner Shames, Elle Koziupa, 45 RPM, and Hixxy. Each piece adds a vibrant burst of colour and creativity to the streets, helping to showcase Newquay’s artistic side.
Newquay BID said the new funding means more murals will soon appear in new areas, bringing added colour, creativity, and community spirit to the town.
More details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, but people can already explore the existing MUQY trail for free by visiting lovenqy.co.uk/explore/muqy
