Cornwall Air Ambulance Launches Christmas Campaign to Support Lifesaving Work

Cornwall Air Ambulance has launched a new campaign urging people to help keep families together this Christmas.

A Story Close to Home

The charity has released an emotive film for the festive season, showing how its service can make a lifesaving difference.

The story centres on a grandmother preparing Christmas dinner with her family while experiencing flashbacks of her husband suffering a cardiac arrest on the coast path. The crew of Cornwall Air Ambulance is tasked to help, with the hope that there won’t be an empty chair at the table this Christmas.

The film was created by local production company Oatey Media and features the Cornwall Air Ambulance airbase along with Cornish coastline. Its aim is to encourage donations to keep the service running.

Any donation made to the charity between now and the end of December will be doubled, thanks to a generous match funder.
