Significant Seizure

During the search, police uncovered a significant amount of suspected cocaine, MDMA, diazepam and cannabis.

Cash, weapons and drug paraphernalia were also found at the address.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug, possession of a class B drug, and possession with intent to supply a class C drug. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Police Response

Police Inspector Adam Stonehill, who leads the Bodmin Neighbourhood Team, said: “Drugs can cause so much harm in our communities, and are integrally linked to a wide range of criminality. This is a great disruption being able to remove these illegal substances and weapons from the streets.

“I hope this shows that we are taking a robust approach against drug crime in the town.”

Adam added: “Operations such as these rely on intelligence provided by our communities. I actively encourage anyone who has any information about suspected drug dealing in Bodmin to please report it to the police, or anonymously to Crimestoppers.

“No matter how small you may think your information is, it might just be the bit of evidence we need to secure a warrant and make arrests.”

How To Report Information

The warrant was led by the Force Support Group, Bodmin Neighbourhood Police Team and Devon & Cornwall Police dog unit.

Information about suspicious activity can be reported directly to Devon & Cornwall Police or by calling 101. In an emergency, call 999.

Information can also be passed 100% anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111 or via their website.
