Liskeard Fire Station Adds Powerful New Water Carrier

Liskeard Community Fire Station has taken delivery of a new water carrier capable of delivering 8,000 litres of water to support firefighting operations.

The appliance arrived last week and has since undergone a week of training with crews.

Now ready to respond

After completing that training period, the water carrier is now officially on the run and ready to respond to incidents across Cornwall.

The additional appliance increases the station’s capacity to supply large volumes of water when supporting firefighting operations, helping crews respond to incidents across the county.
