Lappa Valley to Host Cornwall Air Ambulance Charity Day on 14th March

Lappa Valley to Waive Entry Fees for Special Air Ambulance Day

Visitors to Lappa Valley will have the chance to enjoy a day out while supporting a lifesaving cause when the attraction hosts a special charity event later this month.

On Saturday 14th March, Lappa Valley will hand the site over to the team from Cornwall Air Ambulance for a fundraising day, with all money raised going directly towards keeping the service flying.

Admission Fee Waived for Charity

For the event, Lappa Valley will waive its normal admission fee. Instead, visitors will be asked to make a suggested £9 donation per person, with every penny going to Cornwall Air Ambulance.

Volunteers from the charity will also be running the Ticket Office, ensuring that all funds raised on the day support their lifesaving work across Cornwall.

Meet the Crew and See the Rapid Response Vehicle

Alongside enjoying Lappa Valley’s two railways and its indoor and outdoor attractions, visitors will also be able to meet members of the Cornwall Air Ambulance team.

Activities planned for the day include:

• Meeting members of the Air Ambulance crew

• Seeing one of their Rapid Response Vehicles up close with demonstrations

• Buying Cornwall Air Ambulance merchandise

• Meeting the charity’s mascot Aircrew Andy

No Booking Required

There will be no advance bookings for the day, with visitors simply invited to turn up and take part.

The event offers a chance to enjoy everything Lappa Valley has to offer while helping raise funds to support the work of Cornwall Air Ambulance across the county.

Winter Admission Offer Still Available

Lappa Valley has also reminded visitors that there are only a few weekends left to take advantage of its winter admission price of £9.00 per person, which runs until 27th March.

With the weather starting to improve, the attraction says it is a great time to come and make memories, with all main activities included in the ticket price.
