Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery Seeks Garden Volunteers
Could You Spare an Hour? Truro Museum Seeks Garden Volunteers
Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery is looking for volunteers with green fingers to help care for its garden in the centre of Truro.
The museum has put out a call for people who enjoy gardening and working with plants to give a small amount of their time each week helping to maintain the outdoor space.
Volunteers Needed for Garden Care
According to the museum, volunteers would ideally have some experience in gardening and looking after plants. The role involves helping with regular tasks such as weeding, pruning, tidying and watering during the summer months.
The commitment is relatively small, with the museum asking for around one to two hours of volunteering per week.
Helping a Wildlife Friendly Space
The garden sits at the Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery on River Street in Truro and is described as a colourful space that is also beneficial for wildlife.
Anyone interested in helping nurture the garden can contact the museum by emailing volunteering@cornwallmuseum.org.
Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery is located at River Street, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 2SJ.
