The Outdoor Place CIC Opens New Premises in Truro’s Pydar Mews
A new space showcasing the work of young people with additional needs has opened in Truro after The Outdoor Place CIC moved into new premises at 2 Pydar Mews.
The organisation has relocated from its previous base at Truro Pannier Market, creating a dedicated office and workspace where learners can continue their activities and share what they produce.
A New Base in Pydar Mews
The Outdoor Place CIC works with young people with additional needs after they leave education.
Its new premises at Pydar Mews provides an office, workspace and a safe environment where the group can continue their work while also welcoming visitors.
The space is managed by staff, learners and mentors.
Showcasing Learners’ Creations
Inside the new location is a showcase area displaying items made by the learners. These include upcycled furniture and crafts, which are available to purchase.
The display offers visitors a chance to see the work being produced and support the learners by buying their creations.
Open to Visitors
The Outdoor Place CIC is currently open 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, and visitors are invited to stop by and say hello.
The move marks a new chapter for the organisation as it settles into its new home at Pydar Mews in Truro.
