Treviglas Academy Students Celebrate GCSE Results 2025
Thursday 21st August 2025 was a day filled with excitement at Treviglas Academy as Year 11 students proudly collected their GCSE results. Families, friends, carers and teachers joined together to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025, creating an atmosphere of pride and joy across the school.
Headteacher James Rogers praised the students for their determination, saying:
"We are absolutely thrilled with this year's results. These outcomes have nothing to do with luck – they are the direct result of the hard work, ambition and responsibility shown by our students, supported every step of the way by their parents and our staff team. We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved."
Academic Excellence
Top grades were achieved across a wide range of subjects, with a notable increase in the number of students securing grade 5s in both English and Maths. The results highlight continued academic progress at the school, marking another positive step in Treviglas Academy's journey.
Students also reflected on their time at the academy, with many speaking about the friendships, support and sense of community they have enjoyed throughout their school years. A large number of students will now continue their education at the expanding Treviglas Academy Sixth Form.
James Rogers added:
"This is a very proud day for Treviglas Academy. Our students have not only achieved academic excellence but have also contributed so much to the wider life of the school. They should be very proud of themselves – we certainly are."
Strong Community and High Standards
The celebrations follow a strong year for Treviglas Academy, which is rated Good by Ofsted across all areas, including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and sixth form provision.
Ofsted inspectors noted:
"Pupils are proud to be part of the school community. Treviglas Academy has high expectations of pupils' conduct. They balance these expectations with warmth and mutual respect. The school is led with moral purpose and the aspiration that all pupils feel a sense of belonging, so they can achieve well."
With strong results and a growing sixth form, the academy continues to build on its reputation for academic success and community spirit.
