Cornwall Airport Newquay Records Busiest Month of 2025 in July

Cornwall Airport Newquay has revealed that July was its busiest month of the year so far, with 51,173 passengers passing through the terminal and 1,874 aircraft movements recorded in the skies above.

Busy on the Ground Too

It wasn't just the flights that made July stand out. #TeamNQY were also busy attending two different events across one weekend.

The airport sponsored the celebrations at Wild on the Beach at Watergate Bay Hotel, an event showcasing local arts just minutes from the terminal. Back on the aerodrome, Cornwall Airport Newquay also hosted TECgirls at Spaceport Cornwall, welcoming the next generation of aviators.

Zurich in the Spotlight

This month, the airport has named Zurich as its "destination of the month", highlighting the direct, twice-weekly route with Edelweiss.

To mark the connection, Cornwall Airport Newquay is running a competition offering a chance to win a four-night break to Zurich. The prize includes:

• Return flights from Newquay to Zurich with Edelweiss

• 2 nights at Boutique Hotel Seefeld (B&B)

• 2 nights at Boutique Hotel Speer (B&B)
