Cornwall Fire and Rescue Want to Hear From You: Have Your Say Before 30th October

Published On: 7 October 2025Last Updated: 7 October 2025By

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is asking residents to share their views as part of the development of its next Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), which will shape how the service tackles local risks and challenges between 2026 and 2030.

What Is the CRMP?

The Community Risk Management Plan sets out how Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service will address key issues facing communities over the next four years. All fire and rescue services across the country are required by the Government to produce such a plan, developed in consultation with the public, partners, and key stakeholders.

What They Want Feedback On

The service is inviting views on several areas, including:

  • Fire stations: How much residents know about their local fire station.

  • Purpose statement: How best to express the service’s purpose.

  • Sharing information: The most effective ways to communicate with the public.

  • Safety education and awareness: Where fire safety education and awareness efforts should be focused.

  • Emergency response times: How people would like to be kept informed about response times as they are updated.

How to Take Part

Feedback will help shape the CRMP 2026–30, which is due to be published in April 2026.

Residents are encouraged to complete the short survey before 30th October 2025 at https://letstalk.cornwall.gov.uk/crmp.

Before starting the survey, participants are asked to read the information about Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and its response times. Those who register or sign in on the Let’s Talk Cornwall platform will be able to save their responses, return later to complete the form, and receive a copy of their submission for their records.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service says all feedback received will be considered as part of the final plan.
