From Saltash United to Truro City: Tylor Love-Holmes Joins the Tinners
Truro City have announced the signing of 19-year-old Tylor Love-Holmes after a successful trial period. The young talent has secured a two-year deal with the Tinners, marking a significant step in his budding football career. Love-Holmes has already made an impression, featuring in all three pre-season matches as Truro City prepare for their 2024-25 Vanarama National League campaign and a long-awaited return to the Duchy after nearly four years in exile.
Rising Star from Saltash United
Last season, Tylor was a standout player for his hometown club Saltash United. His consistent performance earned him the Manager’s Player of the Year award. He also captured the attention of many with a spectacular overhead kick during the Boxing Day clash with St Blazey, a moment that won him the prestigious Tim Halford Award for an Outstanding Moment.
Before his time at Saltash United, Tylor honed his skills under the guidance of Mackenzie Brown at Millbrook. His football journey began in the academy of Championship side Plymouth Argyle, where he laid the foundation for his professional career.
Love-Holmes’ Excitement and Determination
Expressing his excitement about joining Truro City, Tylor Love-Holmes shared his thoughts with trurocity.co.uk: “I’m buzzing about this move because I wasn’t even expecting it to be honest. I was asked to come along to trial and it has been a dream since then. The lads are brilliant and all the coaching staff are brilliant too.”
Addressing sceptics who might question his readiness for the step up from Saltash United, Tylor confidently stated, “I know people will say it is a massive step up from Saltash United and I might not be ready. I would say to those people that I was ready when I came on trial and I knew I could step up and play for this club.”
Tylor’s commitment to his new team is clear: “I want to be here, excel as a person and a player and see where things go. I am determined with everything I do to grab an opportunity and I will always give 110 per cent.”
Looking Forward to the 2024-25 Season
With Love-Holmes now officially part of the squad, Truro City fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming season. The young player’s talent and determination promise to bring a new dynamic to the team as they strive for success in the Vanarama National League. Tylor Love-Holmes’ journey with Truro City is just beginning, and all eyes will be on this rising star as he takes to the pitch.
