CRFU Appoints Alan Church as Senior Men’s Team Manager
The Cornwall Rugby Football Union (CRFU) has announced that Alan Church will take on the role of the County’s Senior Men’s Team Manager.
A Career Built on Rugby and Service
Alan spent 37 years serving in the Royal Navy before moving into rugby management. For the past 17 years, he has worked with the Royal Navy Rugby Union (RNRU), first as Secretary and more recently as their Sports Development Officer.
During this time, he gained wide-ranging experience in managing a Constituent Body, as well as in planning and executing fixtures. His role also saw him build strong connections with the players and coaches of all five RNRU representative teams.
Cornwall Connection
Alan first moved to Cornwall in 1982. After spending time away, he returned and has been a permanent resident since 2007.
The CRFU said they are “delighted to welcome Alan Church as the County’s Senior Men’s Team Manager.”
