Cornwall FA Confirms Interim CEO Appointment

Cornwall FA has confirmed a leadership change as it prepares for the next phase of its current strategy.

Danni Peel has moved on from her role as CEO and has taken up a new position within The FA. Cornwall FA congratulated Danni on her appointment and thanked her for her contribution, wishing her success in her new role.

Following her departure, Vicky Fisher has been appointed Interim CEO with immediate effect.

Interim CEO appointment

Vicky returned to Cornwall FA in December as People Development Manager and has since rejoined the organisation’s leadership team. She brings previous experience as National Development Manager at The FA, alongside long standing involvement in the Cornwall football community.

In her interim role, Vicky will oversee the day to day running of Cornwall FA, ensuring continuity across programmes, services and ongoing priorities. Supporting clubs, leagues, volunteers, partners and the wider football community remains a key focus.

Looking ahead

Cornwall FA says the appointment comes as the second year of its Strategy 2024 to 2028, GAME ON, nears completion. The organisation plans to build on progress made so far while continuing to deliver its strategic goals under new leadership.
