Two Bodmin On Call Firefighters Reach Major Milestone
Becoming a competent firefighter isn’t quick, and two of Bodmin’s crew have just crossed the line.
Bodmin Community Fire Station has announced that On Call Firefighters Goodswen and Kerr-knight have both passed their Final Stage Review, marking them as competent firefighters.
The Final Stage Review is the assessment that confirms an On Call Firefighter has completed the required training and is fully qualified to operate on the run.
Goodswen and Kerr-knight both serve at Bodmin Community Fire Station, one of Cornwall’s busiest On Call stations, covering a wide stretch of mid-Cornwall.
The station shared the news with a public congratulations to the pair, recognising the work involved in reaching competent status.
