Man Dies After St Austell Collision as Police Continue Enquiries
A man from St Austell has died following a collision that happened earlier this month.
What happened
Adam Dampier was walking in the area of St Austell on the morning of Thursday 2nd January when he was involved in a collision with a red Peugeot 207.
The collision took place on Trevanion Road at the junction with Sawles Road.
Hospital treatment and death
The 48 year old was taken to hospital following the collision. He sadly passed away on 9th January.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Investigation ongoing
Police have confirmed that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Anyone with information that may assist officers, including dash cam footage, is asked to contact police on 101 or via their website, quoting log 81 of 2nd January.
