Passenger Dies After Collision Near St Ives Junction
Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision near St Ives.
The collision happened at the junction of Towednack Road and the B3311 Halsetown Road at 4:40pm on Tuesday 24th February 2026.

Two Vehicles Involved
The incident involved a black VW Sharan private hire taxi and a black VW Polo.
A 47-year-old passenger in the Sharan was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital following the collision. Police have confirmed that she later sadly passed away.
Police Appeal For Witnesses
Officers investigating the collision are now asking anyone who may have information to come forward.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to officers, or anyone who may have dash-camera footage from the time of the incident or shortly beforehand.
